The Carbeth Estate is spread over a fair distance and there are a number of different little groupings.
There is, of course, the hutting area behind the Carbeth Inn - there are effectively three fields behind the pub, bottom, middle and top.
There's the Coults Road area of course, which is perhaps the most visible from the public road (these huts can be seen on the lefvt hand side of the road when driving to Blanefield)
Then, there's the beautiful Clachan area, which is accessed (at lesat by car) by travelling along the aptly named Froggy Lane.
Finally, there are the two picturesque areas adjacent to the beautiful Carbeth Loch. Click on the pictures to see them Full Size.....
